Welcome to Indie Star Search - "Stars rise and fall, but Dreams live forever".   Gathered here in one place,  are hundreds of independent musicians who are living their musical dreams and letting their star shine.  So sit back and listen to some good music, read some interesting bios, and buy a few CDs when you find something you like. 

My name is Charles "Chalee" Hollowell and I am an independent musician.  I began the Indie Music Store  in early 2005 when I realized there were plenty of sites where a musician could promote and sell their music, but none who would ship physical cds to buyers for free.  I believe offering free shipping motivates online shoppers to buy.

My initial idea was to make this service available to Indiana musicians only, hence the domain name Jam! Indiana.  (I was born, raised and now live in Indiana).  As the site grew, musicians from all over the U.S. wanted to sign on.  Since then our focus has changed in include musicians from all over the world and the Indie Music Store and it's sister site Indie Star Search were born.

I am not trying to make money off of advertising so you won't see annoying popup or pay-per-click ads on our main pages.  I wanted to keep the look simple and user friendly, without the clutter that would prevent your enjoyment of browsing our site.

Our goal is to help independent musicians get noticed, get their music heard and get their CDs sold.   Here a Musician can:

1. Sell their music CD's independently and profitably.
2. Develop interest from music industry professionals.
3. Showcase their talent and develop a fan base.
4. Move their music career forward with or without a major record deal.

We only sell CDs that come directly from the musicians, songwriters or indie producers themselves.  No distributors.  Musicians send us their CDs, we warehouse them, sell them to you, and pay the musician directly.

INDIE STAR SEARCH STORE PRIVACY POLICY

We NEVER give or sell your personal information to any other company.  Not even your email address.  Only the musician whose CD you buy will know who you are.  If you don't want the musician to know about you, just say so at the bottom of your order form.

Your credit card information is never stored in our permanent customer information records. All online purchases handled through PayPal, which is the safest, fastest, most secure way to buy online.  You do not have to join or be a member of PayPal to pay by credit card or bank transfer.
